Look Who's Back!

Brrrrr... it's cold in here. There must be some Clair-ism in the blogosphere!

Ok, I tried.

Anyway, HELLO!! It's been too damn long since I last blogged. Why? Simply because my work is all about writing and by the time I come home, the last thing I wanna do is write some more, so... yea. The reason why I decided to blog again. however, is because my work will soon have nothing to do with writing and I wanna keep writing so that my mind and skillz won't get rusty, ya know?

No, I didn't resign. Just changed roles.

I also thought of starting a brand new blog but I decided not to because I still wanna take a look back my past memories, even if my writing back then was awful! It might still be awful to some of you but I admit, I think it improved a little bit. The only person I have to thank would be the one I always send my work to for checking and editing.

So, what have I been up to since I last blogged? Well, a whole damn lot actually. 2012 has been nothing but awesome and till today, I can't believe those things happened right before my eyes. Let's recap, shall we?

One of my main highlights for 2012 would be my trip to South Korea! If you know me well, you'll know how much I've always wanted to go there and when I finally did, I felt like I could cross one thing off my bucket list.

South Korea was awesome! Food was great, scenery was gorgeous, people were nice and I could go on and on and on. I will definitely go back again, once I strike lottery.

I also saw sheep for the very first time! Star struck, much?

We also checked out the famous Teddy Bear museum. I'm not a big fan of teddy bears and soft toys but that trip changed me. I even brought one home.

Then, few months down the road, I got to watch Maroon 5 in concert again. Front zone again. Drooled over Adam Levine... again. Thanks to Desiree for the awesome tickets!

Next highlight? WATCHING BIG BANG IN CONCERT!
Hellz yes, I did! Again, if you know me well, you'll know how much I love Kpop's hottest band, Big Bang. Been a fan since 2007 and attending their concert is like a total dream come true. Many people have made fun of them and made fun of me for liking them but you know what? I don't ca-a-a-re. Another thing to cross off my bucket list.

After that, I made my way to Macau (again because I can't get enough of that place) and Hong Kong. This time around, I went there with the craziest friends ever... Conrad, Desiree and Liyana. It was our first trip together. Oh, we even got the chance to check out Disneyland, Madame Tussaud and HK's famous 'The Peak'!! Dreams do come true, ey?

At the Disneyland entrance. It's true what they say... it's the happiest place on earth. The staff there are also happy. Happier than other people we've met during our trip.

Hmm, then what happened after HK? Oh, I went to Beijing, no biggie. LOL.

Actually, it was a biggie because it was sponsored by the company I work for and it was winter time!! It was my first company trip and my first winter experience. Clap clap hands!

I loved Beijing, honestly. The view and the location was great but the weather, not so much. I didn't enjoy the cold. It would've been better if it was during a different season or with my loved ones, but whatever it is, I touched snow and I saw snow. Fullstop.

And I stepped foot at the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City. Wh-what!

Tadaa... the Great Wall. Such a waste that I didn't climb all the way. I blame the winter.

Yes, when I put on winter clothes, I look like a dumpling and if you lay a finger on me, I would roll.

So yea, that's what happened in 2012.

In a nutshell... I traveled like mad (too broke to leave the country now), I saw things I've never seen before, I lost 21kgs (Yes, I had to put that in! Hah!) and I've worked for 1.5 years straight... without quitting (this is my longest lasting job in my whole working life). That's all.

Hmm... maybe I shall blog about how I lost 21kgs. Lmao!
No, puking and starving myself wasn't the answer.
