A Breath of Fresh Air

This week marks the beginning of many new things, for me.

Okay, not that many. Just 2 new things to be exact.

First, I've FINALLY transferred to a new department at work (after 8 months of w.a.i.t.i.n.g.). Initially, I was in the creative team as a copywriter and now, I've moved to a new team with a completely new job scope. Why? Because it was offered to me and I didn't think of anything else but to grab it. I'm aware that I should stick to one type of job in order to build a solid career but sorry, I like trying out new stuff and I see no wrong in that. Shrugs. Besides, it all feels pretty refreshing and that's what I need. So far, everything seems alright. I'm still getting used to it. I must admit though, I do sorta miss my fellow creative colleagues. Yep, I said it!

Speaking of work, this is what I wore today. I'm sharing this because I felt so like a school girl, with the glasses and all... hence, the peace sign. LOL. Oh, shorter and neater hairdo too. Not that it's any different than my previous ones. Yawn!

Skirt: Cotton On

Second, I've FINALLY moved out!!

Not out of my house. Just out of my previous room to the empty room located downstairs of my house. My late grandma used to sleep in there and since no one wants to sleep in there now, I called dibs!

It's a pretty big deal for me because all my life, I've been sharing a room with either my sister or brother or uni roommates. This time, I have the whole room to myself!

Why I love it?
1. There's an attached bathroom. No more sharing!
2. It's cosy and kinda cooling.
3. It's pink! My dad painted it for me and it's gonna be filled with all the stuff I love.

Taaadaaa... welcome to my humble Funland!

Still not fully decorated, which explains why I took only this part of the whole room. Hah!

I... just... had... to.

Ah... fresh beginnings can be so refreshing.

The end!
