Did Not Expect The Unexpected

Once again, I am reminded why I shouldnt trust anyone or fall for their nice-ness so easily. You see, the problem with me is that when I meet people, I forget that they are capable of being someone I dont want them to be therefore, I end up being the victim and I end up hating them. Hence, Little Miss Hater. I hate to hate people but what to do? Their true colours make me who I am so, sorry I guess.

The story is like this, my boss was away from work for two days. Today she came back and suddenly asked me why didnt I do one of the tasks that was to be done. Me, being clueless, just replied 'because I didnt know I was supposed to do it?' True what. Then she said that I should have called her to confirm it. Then I answered, 'but I havent seen this thing before. I didnt know I had to do it'.

So, it turns out that one if the colleagues told my boss that she asked me to do this task and I apparently didnt do it. Like....wtf much? First of all, I dont remember being asked to do anything except whatever my boss told me to do and secondly, if I really forgot, isnt it this colleague's job to remind me or something??? This may not be a big deal but to me it is. Why am I to blame? kns.

If my boss know me well enough, she would know that I always do whatever is told. If I am in the process of completing one task and suddenly something else pops in, I will finish that popped in task and then continue the other later. I wanted to tell my boss this but why create havoc when there shouldnt be one?

For the whole day, I couldnt talk, I couldnt smile and I was not in the mood for anything all because of this colleague. The best part? She's really nice so all this was so not what I would expect coming from her. Reminded me of an incident that happened sometime this year on Hari Raya Eve. Hmm.

Whatevs lah. Just wanna steer clear of such people. I wanna hear her side of the story tho but nah, I'll just stick to mine.

ps: the only thing increasing in my working life is the task, not pay.
pps: one of the guys in my office is using Bieber's Baby as his ringtone. Like...REALLY???
