Abortion/Throwing Is Not The Answer

Hahh!!! For the first time, Clair did not blog during the week. Now this is not a good sign, well to me it isnt. Sigh, I cannot let this blog collect so much dust. I need to re-commit myself.

Anyway, today I would like to blog about something I am extremely sensitive about. I probably seem like a very super ignorant person to some (or maybe most), like not bothering/aware about current happenings in this country and around the world. It is true on some levels, I dont bother reading the news because its depressing and I prefer to live in ignorance and also, I am lazy but there are some issues that really tick me and disappoint me big time.

Before I begin, I know living in ignorance is terrible and stupid but its not like I am completely clueless about whatever that's going on. Let's just say, I only know the headlines and not so much of the content. Okay? Thanks.

So, back to the topic. One of the things that I am very sensitive about happens to be Abortion and throwing of babies into rivers, dumpters, drains, etc. Lately, there have been many cases of throwing babies away like trash and this one hurts me more than anything else. Abortion comes in second. Why do people do things like this? A baby is God's beautiful gift, no? It is another life afterall.

Just imagine some VIP buys you a massively expensive and awesome car, that not everyone gets easily and on top of that, the VIP gives you however much amount of money you want. Dont tell me you're gonna crash the car somewhere and throw away the money. Puhleeese!! So why cant people treat babies the same way as money or luxurious items? Its. the. same.

On my first day of work three weeks ago, I heard some news about a student throwing a baby in the river opposite of my workplace. I was silently angry and so disappointed with people like this. I also felt so helpless. Like, I cant do anything to stop this or help these girls who are stuck in such situations. Being helpless, however, surprised me because I never knew I had it in me. I myself thought I was too ignorant to care.

You know how some people are so concern about the environment, diseases and what nots? Well, I am concerned about girls who make such hasty decisions to do such things and I hope to be a part of an organization that helps them to make a U-turn in life and do the right thing. Time to do some research on my part. heh.

I often wonder, what goes through their minds. What do they think of when they give birth to a child and then stuff it in a bag and just threw it away at any places convenient to them. Aren't they thinking of what the baby could have if they didnt throw/murder it? After going through 9 months of pregnancy, dont they at least feel a connection with the child? If they dont, there's no reason to get rid of it. There is always a place to give the child up for adoption!!!

Did you know.....

As for abortion, I can understand how they dont feel any connection with the baby because you will have to be at very early stages to go through abortion but it is still wrong!!! So sad. I hope people wont just take the easy way out when they have such problems. There is always counseling, adoption and more. It just needs some research to find the solution.

ps: if there are many typos, please try to figure out the word. I'm lazy to check. Hahah
