Maybe most of you have seen nicer pictures and read better stories about the concert but whatever.
Before the concert, the heavy rain and the difficulty of getting a carpark near the venue totally ruined the mood but having Conrad with me in the car made it much more fun and less stressful. We laughed, talked and shouted at each other....all in the name of fun. Oh, I revealed a sucky personality of mine to him - paranoia. I parked my car at the row of shops quite far from the venue and I was paranoid-ing maximum!!! Luckily Conrad was patient enough to tahan all this. Heh. When we got there, we joined Desiree who was already in the queue.
As we were running into the surf beach...under the rain...on the wet wet sand...Bunkface has already started performing. I like their songs but I missed out..boo!! I did made it on time for Through My Window. yay!!!!!!
Here they are...rawking out. Its a very unattractive picture but what to do, we weren't near the stage and I havent warm up photo snapping skillz. Hahaa.
Of course, a proof that I was there!!
Next up was the Wonder Girls. They were only so-so because their dance moves didnt look like there was much energy. They just had to shake their hair around, wear sexy clothes and its enough to drive the crowd crazy. Their singing was so-so as well but I was sooo happy when they sang Tell Me!! OMG. I was the only one in the crowd that went 'Omona!!!'. If it was in Korea, everyone would have Omona-ed but oh well.

I have other clearer pictures of them but I wanted to put this because I liked their gold outfit, just like the one in their music video. This was the time that EVERYONE, fan or not a fan, went wild. At least can sing along. Haha.
After waiting,waiting and waiting for what seemed like hours, Tokio Hotel took the stage. The delay was caused by the rain etc whatever but I guess the wait was worth it....if you're a big fan. I'm not a hugeee fan so I wasnt that excited. I was looking forward to the 2 songs I knew tho - Automatic and World Behind My Wall. Haha. The crowd went wild from the first to the last song. They sang and jumped, blocked my view even more!! Dah lah I'm not that tall. The three of us, however, just stood and sang along to songs that we only knew.
That's lead singer, Bill Kaulitz. I think he looks really stylo. I have a thing for guys who looks like this. Think Adam Lambert. Only these two tho. The others look more sissy. I couldnt get a group shot because....I couldnt see with all the jumping. Ugh.
I liked when the fire rain whatever came down. So prettyyyyy!!!
During TH's performance, we noticed 2 girls being a little too close for comfort and one of them had a bad B.O. Gross.
Finally, when I felt like giving up and so wanted to chop off my tired legs or wished I could fly, Katy Perry appeared and started singing!!!!!!! Yes, I was there mainly for Miz Katy because she rawk balls!!!!!! Her stage setting was also the best one of all. Made me want to jump on stage or something. Enjoy the following Katy photos :)
I know I seem biased but I love her!!!!!!! Her songs are just so 'in your face' kinda thing. I likey.
This is Utt enjoying Katy's performance as well. I'm surprised he didnt fall off or something while watching because he might get over excited or something.
So all in all, the best for me would be Katy's performance for obvious reasons. I love her Peacock song and I will buy her album!!! I think I would enjoy TH's one more if I knew their songs but I did developed a liking for 2 more new songs :)
By the end of the night, I was dead tired because I started my day at 6am. All I wanted was to shower and go to bed. Zzzz. I have an idea for MTV - why dont they have the concert at a stadium or something with seats!!! Can die okay stand for so damn long.
Lastly....
The people I had sooo much fun with despite being tired and cranky. So, that wrapped up my birthday celebration.
