I Don't Und Them

and I think I never will.

Who is them, you ask? Well, they're my beloved parents. They are so confusing that sometimes I get a headache.

Before I talk about the most recent scenario, let me back track a little to 4 years ago, while I was still in form 5, thinking about what to pursue after SPM.

I remember very clearly that my parents said exactly this, 'When you finish Form 5, you can study anything you want, as long as you do well in SPM'. I was pretty happy because they seemed so supportive. So, I started making decisions and was thinking if I should do Mass Comm or Hotel Management. At last, I chose Mass Comm.

I think from here, y'all who know me, pretty much can guess what happened. I didnt end up doing Mass Comm. I did Pre-U and was thrown into MMU and was made to choose the Marketing major.

Erm, whatever happened to 'When you finish Form 5, you can study anything you want, as long as you do well in SPM'? Forgotten or . But they said that marketing was a better option and is for my own good. Uh huh.

So, lets come back to what happened on Sunday, and probably almost everytime when I drive. Everytime I ask my dad, 'Pa, which way to use? This way or that way?' His respond will always be, 'Up to you lor. You are the driver what.' So, okay. Up to me and I shall use whichever way I am comfortable and familiar with.

But most of the time, whenever I use my desired route, he would say, 'I dont understand why you must drive through here when you can use the other road'. But, I thought you said I can use any road I want as long as I am driving. Apa lah!!

I dont understand my parents and I think its quite annoying but no matter what, I still love them. Did you know, after going through shiteous days at work and when I look at my parents, I automatically feel calm and relieved because their look assure me that I have someone to come home to after a shitty day. When I look at their cars as I reach my house gate, I'm feeling happy already.

Yea yea, I'm a Mommy and Daddy's girl *rolls eyes*. Whatever.
