Anyway, not here to sound depressing. I wanna share about Adam Lambert's Glamnation Concert that was held on the 14th October 2010 at the Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil. Me, being a fan since Idol days, was of course very super extremely excited about the concert. Lets just say he is on my 'people I wanna see before I die' list. I was so excited that I couldnt stop smiling to myself (I looked like a dumbo doing that) and I was actually counting down to the day. Been a while since I felt this way.
Attended the epic concert with my favo peoples...
Desiree brought her lil bro along. I'm glad we entertained him with our never ending nonsense. haha.
The concert did not disappoint as well. Despite all the useless protest from people who do not support him, the show still went on and it was very very very awesome. To be honest, I didnt even know there was a protest going on outside until I read the papers the next day. And the picture showed how people were protesting and a couple walking past them, entering the stadium. Hahaha. Pff. Seriously, pointless.
Protest all you want, but it was a full house event anyways.
There were opening acts before Adam came out. I didnt expect it at all and was surprised. What kind of opening act was that? Just some malay guy I didnt know and Daniel Lee. And they weren't good. Maybe it was a good warm up session for us lah but nope, didnt enjoy it at all. I choose to think that the reason they came out was to test the sound system. Hahaha. I am mean.
While waiting, the crowd got restless and decided to play with yellow balls given by Digi, the sponsor.
These balls can be scary when it comes right at your face. We had no where to run!!! Still traumatised from the ball effect that happened during the MTV World Stage. shudders.
Being a big fan of his, I enjoyed myself so much even tho some of the songs he sang were not really my fave. When the songs I knew came on, I got even more excited and happy. I mean, finally, I get to see my man do his thang right in front of my eyes. Unforgettable!!
The only thing I didnt enjoy was how all the slow songs were arranged to be sung back to back. It got a bit lullaby-ish, no offense and he didnt kiss any guy. But other than that, I had fun!!! Best part was he sang Fever!! This song is pretty sexual so I kinda had a feeling he wont even sing this song since we are very "sensitive" but he did and...YAYYYY!!!!!!!! Super enjoyment :)
Oh, one more disappointment - the back drop.
Huh??? That was it??? I was expecting something more extravagant but its alright. Its the performance that matters. Heh. The backdrop kinda made us think that he would come out in jeans and a while t-shirt. Wont be surprised but he proved us wrong. His costumes was exactly what and how I imagined. Lovely!! He looked pretty, seksi, gorgeous and everything!! During the boring songs, I made sure I had a good look at him so that I can get it embedded in my memory. LOL.
On that day, there was also a dress-up-like-glambert contest going on. When we just arrived, we spotted Conrad's friend who was all dressed up and we could tell, he was joining the contest. We couldnt stop mocking his outfit and as a payback to us, he won the contest thing. What???? Karma betul. He won a meet and greet thing and when he told us how it all went down, we weren't so jealous anymore. It was just like Adam greeting a bunch of students and they took class photos. That's not meet and greet. That's just Meet. Here I thought, he would chat with people one on one or have a mini autograph session. Boo!

I love this outfit the besttttt!!
Another best one was when he wore a sleeveless vest and he put on a tail jacket along with a walking cane. Yumm!!

So overall, a fantastic show that left me feeling so depressed because I wanted more. Til we meet again, Glambert!!
