Its been a long time since I obsessed over singers/boybands/entertainers. Some of the few that I absolutely went gaga for were Westlife, BSB, Spice Girls and more. I bought every magazine with their faces on it, I bought every CD they released, I knew words to all their songs and I even cried for them at some point. If this isnt dedicated love, I dunno what is. These days, however, my love for singers/bands/entertainers is not as major as before. I just buy their CDs, thats all. If I dont like them as much, I'll download. simple.
One of the latest boy groups that I adore is....BIG BANG.
They're Korean and their songs are just amazing, just the way I love it. Its hip hop but not too much rap and not to mention, monotonous. Plus, they're very cute and after some time, hawt!! I've been a fan since 2007 and and their songs from their very first album reminds me so much of when I first started uni. Reason is because I used to listen to their songs every day in the hostel room, keeping myself entertained and ignoring how home sick I could get. Good times.
I dare say, I have been loyal to them ever since :)
Next up....ADAM LAMBERT
I have many many favorites from American Idol but he is by far, the only one I love the most. Very most most most, Jason Castro comes in second. There is something about him that's special. Its either his looks, showmanship, talent or whatever. I think he is fawesome. I even made my parents buy me his CD for Christmas last year and I actually listen to the CD. Haha. Unlike my other CDs....buy, listen once and then dump one side. Tsk tsk.
I also practiced what to say to him if I ever get to see him face to face one day - 'I've never said this to any guy before so you're the first. I LOVE YOU!!!!' Sweet? Hahaha. I'll try to think of something better lah.
So, what does these two have in common? Besides the fact that I lahv them. Well, they're both having concerts and I AM GOING FOR FRIKKIN BOTH OF THEM!!!!!!
As you know, Adam Lambert's Glam Nation Tour will be on the 14th of October at Putra Stadium. I am loving it even now because of the venue, and the fact that we have to buy tickets. Those win-tickets-to-attend thing is super stupid because I can never win. Susah!! But the day a bit out lor. Thursday night? Then Friday how? I'll be stoning in the office and crying because of love sick-ness. Whatever it is, I'm going and I spent RM203 for it. It better be awesome.
Big Bang, on the other hand, will be performing for this Korean Pop Concert thing in Singapore on the 23rd of October. Its not really their full length concert because there are other people such as SNSD, FT Island, Shinee and others. I only know these few. I hope not to fall asleep when Big Bang isnt performing. LOL. I'll be going with Cuz Su Yen and I promised to scream with her for SNSD and vice versa XD. I spent RM282 (S$121) for this and I better have fun. And not just watch he screen. Sigh.
Funny story behind this Korean concert thing. Su Yen and I were so despo to get tickets for this thing. I managed to get Amira to help get the tickets and she agreed to pay for us first. After praying hard for the tickets, Amira called to say that its all sold out. I didnt know if I should cry or feel nothing because its not really a big surprise. But after a few moments and how I fell for it, Amira broke the good news and I couldnt scream because I was at work that time. LOL. Had to chill and be excited at the same time. I did the same thing to Su yen but she didnt get it....at all. Then she started screaming. LMAO. Thinking about it now is making me excited all over again!!
Can you imagine how I feel right now? Both the artists I love so much and accepted the fact that I will never get to see them perform at all is actually making my dreams come true. I never thought that this will hapapen, at all. God is good, I tell ya. :)
So many things to look forward to next month....
