TV Series Addict Adds Two More To Her List

What have I been up to these days, you may wonder (or not). Nothing much. I just started watching this series called Pretty Little Liars last week. Been downloading so many episodes for quite some time now but I never bothered watching it until recently.



I didnt want to put such high hopes because I've been disappointed before when it comes to new shows but I was wrong!!! This show is brilliant.

Synopsis (Credits to Wikipedia) : The series follows the lives of four girls — Spencer, Hanna, Aria, and Emily — whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their queen bee, Alison. One year later, they begin receiving messages from someone using the name "A" who threatens to expose their secrets — including long-hidden ones they thought only Alison knew

The thing I love about this show is the storyline, obviously. It can be quite creepy depending on how you view it lah. Reading the synopsis also you can tell how good the show is. Me, being easily freaked out, find it kinda freaky and will not watch it at night. I'm weird like that. Besides the storyline, I absolutely love their wardrobe. From make up to clothing to accessories - I love them all. There's something about cast wardrobe that makes me more drawn to the show. Dunno why. This show had made it to my Must-watch-or-I'll-die-show list along with Glee, Criminal Minds, Desperate Housewives, Gossip Girl and How I Met Your Mother. I watch other shows too though but just for loyalty sake XD

Trivia: I used to be able to handle freaky shows at night but after watching Supernatural at nigh when I was in uni, I have changed. *shudders*

Another one I recently started watching is Hellcats.



I decided to give this a try because I am an Ashley Tisdale fan. I was ready to be disappointed as well and the first few minutes of the show made me want it to finish fast but when the middle part came, I found myself quite enjoying it.

Synopsis (Credits to Wikipedia) : the series follows the life of Marti Perkins, a pre-law college student who has to join the cheerleading team, the Hellcats, in order to maintain her scholarship.

In addition to the synopsis, Marti is the type of girl who doesnt like cheerleading I guess. She's like those rocker kinda chic and not in the cool crowd but has no choice but to join this cheerleading thing for a good cause that benefits her. One of the cheerleaders injured herself and the team had to have tryouts to find her replacement. Most of the members likes Marti but this injured biatch hates her therefore, girl drama bitchiness begins.

What I enjoy about this show after just watching one episode is the dance routine!!!!! When I first saw Marti, I didnt like her also. But once I saw her dancing, its was like...wow. Yes, I'm a dance fan. I also like cat fights. Haha. Why do you think I watch America's Next Top Model??

Anyway, I'm still in the process of getting episode 2 so we'll see if I still wanna watch it after this. I think this show is like a cheerleading version of One Tree Hill huh. Even one of the guys acted in OTH as an annoying basketball-er who died and he is now a male cheerleader. Okaaay. Ashley Tisdale remind me of Brooke of OTH and Marti reminds me of Peyton of OTH. Must be the hair.

Its so sad that the only thing I look forward to these days are the progress of my downloads. And also watching the shows. Sigh.

ps: the download season has returned!! so many shows to watch :D
