To those who dont bother to know, I turned 23 last Saturday on the 31st of July. I guess this year's birthday kicked all of my other birthday's ass because I officially ended my status as a student (nooo!!) also known as graduated, I went for the MTV Worldstage and...yeah, thats about it. If you dont think this is awesome at all, too bad. It was to me. I kept thinking to myself that even my wedding wont make such a big impact on me like how this did. Hahh!!
A week before my birthday, the high school buds decided to take me out for dinner. I felt quite weird because usually, I'm the one celebrating other people's birthday so its cool to have people celebrating mine. Hehh.
Thanks girls, for dinner. The food was mehh but the company was better :)
We ordered this beer food platter from a certain makan place we were at. The price? RM48.80. Lets just put it as RM50 lah, after rounding up. OMG...the food is so not worth the price okay. In the menu, it said that there'll be sausage, calamari, something else and fries. We assumed that the main part of this dish would be the meat and all but turned out, the main was more like the damn fries. Eh....RM50 for a majority of fries?? Puhleese. We complained it to the waiter and his response? 'Oh..then you must consider yourself lucky'. Being lucky means having more meat, not chips. Rolls eyes. Luckilly he's a nice fello.
See?? Fries, fries and more fries!!! I love fries but come on lah.
That aside, I got cake!!
Again, thanks girls. Sadly, we had to gulp it down because next stop for me - Zouk!! With the sister and her fwens.
At the club, I had to try to smuggle in an underage - Christine Lim!! Haha. We had to come up with plans on how to get her in without any questions. So, moment of fear came. We both went in separately and this lil girl managed to get in without any questions asked. Next, it was me and I wasted like 3 minutes of my life because some bouncer didnt believe I was above 21 and didnt believe the ID I was holding...is mine. I feel so honoured. Thanks :)
Christine (Caryn's lil sis) and me....we should so switch age for awhile. LOL.
So, thats it. I had a birthday lunch with my family but no photos because....I was too hungry. Forgot all bout it. Haha.
On another note, I just discovered a lil something about myself. Few days ago, I went for another job interview. They asked me a question that made me realise that I dont know what I wanna do, career wise, because I wanna work for the money (duh, I neeeeed it) and not much of building a career. I guess to sum it up, I have no ambitions. Maybe not yet because I'm still clueless and not ready to work hence, just work for pocket money. The most important for me is to be happy with my work, that's all I ask. It seems its not good because I cant go far but hopefully, in 3 years time, I will have an ambition.
