I Hear Buzzing

Whenever I plan ahead, it always fail. Why oh why? You see, my initial plan after I finished my degree course was bum until until October, which is when I come back from Macau. The during the bumming period, I would find a free lance job just for some pocket money and when I am ready, I'll get a full time job.

Unfortunately, as expected, my plan failed. Two reasons though - my mom and dad. They were making never ending noise, which to me sounds very much like a buzzing bee or maybe a mosquito. They kept saying that I should get a job now now now and not waste time. bzz bzzzz bzzzzzz!! Once they started, I turned off the invisible switch that is placed somewhere near my ears.

So, being a good daughter that I am, I started looking for a job like a few weeks to a month after I finished my course and that part time job. In the time that I sent our CVs and attended interviews, they still made noise, saying things like I'm not trying hard enough, I'm applying at the wrong places, I'm fussy...bzzz bzzzz bzzzzz. I agree, I am fussy. Not for the pay or anything but for the name of the company and the industry its in. Oh well.

Now that I finally got a job to make them shhhh and actually earn the money that I need, they...actually more like she lah...is making some more noise. This time, asking me to go for some more interviews because this current company is not really an MNC and its not what I should be doing. bzz bzz bzzzz. Ugh!! I get why she feels this way but please give it time. Its only my first week.

No job - make noise, got job - make another noise. sigh.

bzz bzzz bzzzzzz.

ps: stop saying one thing to me and telling other people the sugar coated version.
