Today, the lecturer brought a guest speaker to give some talk about....something I cant remember because I didnt pay attention. I tried but didnt work, so....whatever. Read on to find out why I decided to stare blankly at the speaker, pretending to be interested.
The first thing the speaker said when he got to the front was 'People usually pay me RM3000 for a talk but I am talking here at no cost so please pay attention'. That totally was a turn off, for me la but I guess its fair enough so I gave him my benefit of the doubt.
After a few minutes of going on and on about whatever, my attention disconnected. He sounded arrogant and to be honest, boring!!! I kept thinking to myself 'How the hell does he get RM3000 for being boring and arrogant???' If he can earn that much giving boring talks, I can too. I'll add a little bit of lame-ness as well, so lets make it RM3500.
I also hated how he kept reminding us that he earns a 6 digit figure a year, a quarter million to be exact. Did we need to know that? This information would probably be useful if he taught us how to earn that frikkin much. Instead, when people asked him questions, he answered with another question and yes, in an arrogant way. Idiot. I just didnt think it made any sense.
Oh, when he asked us if we had any questions for him and no one put their hands up, he would remind us how he worked with some supposedly famous people from the online entrepreneurship industry bla bla bla. Hello? I dont even know them so quit bragging, will ya? Okay, some people might know them but he can take into consideration that there are some people who dont. *Points to self*.
Ughh....just thinking about it annoys me. I have four words - I. dont. like. him.
There some of you out there who must be thinking 'You dont like anybody!!!'. Not entirely true. Haha. But okay, maybe it is. What to do right? People just have ways to irritate me so therefore, they land in my 'most dislike' list.
To be honest, his talk that was worth RM3000 didnt help much and wasnt any good.
PS: I glanced over at the time and was shocked to know that its already 10.58PM!!! Thought it was 9 something.
