I just read something that made me roll my eyes all the way to the back of my head. I hope that when my turn comes, I won't thaaaaaaaat crazily enthusiastic.
Well, I'm here to announce something that has made very very happy yesterday. I was so happy that I lost my concentration in whatever I did. I was practically floating!!
I finally got a job....for my internship!!!
*cue fireworks please*
Yeap, after almost two months of applying and waiting for replies, I finally got one. No more worrying!! Phew. Looks like I didnt make that much of a fool of myself during the interview. I know I did a little but...oh well. Double phew!!
That's me, at the interview. Was waiting for the interviewers at their waiting room.
By the way, my taxi ride that day was safe. I didnt have to dig my nose but I had to pay frikkin RM9. Not kena con la. I used the pay-at-counter-first kinda taxis. I guess I paid for the safety.
It was pretty funny la actually. Yesterday, my friends were all talking about the positions that they got and the companies that accepted them. Even Stephy got an offer before I did, and she was kan jiong-ing more than me. I had to to cut their conversation short because I felt depressed and even more tension listening to their stories.
Suddenly, my phone rang. I was stoning while it rang, assuming it was an SMS. I then realized it was a call when Stephy was shouting 'Eh, answer la!! Must be from a company'. True enough, it was. I received the good news and was all smiles. My heart actually went bang bang boom :)
Sumeet even screamed!! Shy case, but glad to know she's excited for me. Hehehe.
So yeah, I'm happy clappy. Now, the four crazies have been accepted and will be interns in another few months. Woot!!
The cool thing is, the four of us are in four totally different industries. Can share different experience. How fun!! By the way, I woke up this morning, and forgot all about it. What man!! Better remind myself to report for duty on June 15th >.<
Okay, internship aside. Here's some long overdue random pictures. Last month, we had a Rodrigues family reunion at Aunty Pam's new fancy mancy condo. I damn love her place!!! Anyway, met some some relative's I've never met before. Its funny that how these cousins have the Rodrigues surname but look so chinese!! And I wouldn't know we're related if we pass by each other.
Anyway, this is my cousin, Nadia. She's half malay and half Eurasian. Isnt she adorable? Chubby wubby!! Oh, and she's three. Godma, Mummy and Nat thinks she looks like me. Really? Maybe a little, when I was her age.
Her father/mother said that she likes going to the kitchen to look for food. She even did it at Aunty Pam's place. Walking to the kitchen like its her house and opening the fridge, looking for snacks. See? She was even eating while taking picture.
Mummy: Not only does she look like you but you both got something in common - aways looking for food.
Me: -_-"
Godma also agreed. Sigh. We live to eat ma.
This picture pulak was taken when we went shopping. Its one of those picture taking in the toilet thingamajig. Dont judge me okay. I'm not one of those. We just did it because Sumeet liked the angle and the mirror. Oh, and we were all wearing blue...coincidently. So, of course must take picture la.
That day we followed Li Lin to buy dresses for prom and her sister's wedding. While she was trying on the dress, Sumeet snapped this.
I'm not crazy okay. Or running away from home or robbing a shop. Mummy called me that time to say she was 10 minutes away so I had to faster grab my bags, as she was gonna be waiting outside. Pfff. Oh, I also just had my sorta disastrous haircut that day and someone said it looked weird. Screw her!! Dumdeedaa.
Alrightie. Gotta get back to work. Been procrastinating. Heh.
