You know what I miss most about the newspapers my parents usually buy? The interesting news reports like murder, robbery, suicidal reports, and etc. Not that I like reading disgusting stories like these but its somehow interesting. It helps me to realize that this world, especially in our country, there is such idiots that exist and I can learn how to be more aware. And these reports usually take up the first few pages of the newspaper.

These days, the first few pages of the newspaper is all about politics. No, not first few pages, practically the whole newspaper is about politics.

The headlines on the front page itself is about politics. Turn to page 1 - politics, turn to page 2 - more politics, turn to page 3 - even MORE politics. And it goes on and on and on.

Now, the serious criminal reports are all small little articles that don't seem important. Okay, excluding the recent drama about some maid attempting to murder her boss la. That's one crazy shiz!!

So, bottomline is...I miss those days when the newspaper had a mix of politics and daily serious news reports. Not just politics. At least I paid more attention to the world. Wanna know how I read the newspapers now? I turn straight to the TV guide page and then to the Hollywood gossip page. That's about it.

By the way, I finally understand what O-Town's Liquid Dreams song mean, after like so many years listening to it. The title says it all!!!! Ewww much?
