MTV Asia Awards 2008!!!

On 2nd August 2008, we left KL at 2.30pm and headed to Genting for the most anticipated event ever...for me that is.

The bus ride there was surprisingly pretty smooth. I didnt feel dizzy. Pheww. After the bus, we headed to the cable car station. Dunno why but somehow embarassing things kept happening to me. Lets just say, I'm thankful that I kept my shades on to avoid humiliation. Haha

Finally, when we reached the very top, I thought..'FINALLYY!!' but I guess I got excited too fast because it was a looongg walk from the cable car station to our hotel.

coughcough. Anyway, moving on. Haha.

After a looong walk, checking in and bumping into Cuz Su Yin at the lobby, we made our way to our lucky room at the Theme Park Hotel. Why lucky room? Because I booked it at the last minute. Teehee. What a hotel!! Complicated route just to get to our room.

After we got to the room, we chilled, talked and the next thing we knew, it was time to get dressed. I never actually got dressed for a concert before though. As in, put make up la, perfume..etc. We all just slapped on some eye liner and that was it. Wanted to have that Jared Leto look la. Hehee.

All geared up and ready for the MAA!!



We had a rushed dinner before the show. Had the worst dinner ever!!! Shall not go into details. Anyway, I think the person who helped Godma get the tickets really hates her lor because she gave us a sucky seat tickets. It was soooo at the side and we couldnt see anything but just the side of the stage. So, thankfully, before we got in, the kind security guard saw us and let us in another entrance which was a better seat than our original one. Better than nothing lor.

Thank God they provided us with that baby bolster clapper thing. Help us make noise while we rest of poor throats..hehee.

Finally, at 7pm sharp, MAA officially began!!! The most punctual show I've been to. Haha. America's dance crew, Jabbawockeez came out first to dance. We didnt get to watch the dance performance because....we were busy running forward to get better seats. Hahaha. Cool huh? It seems those 'unappreciative' EDC people didnt turn up for the show so we made good use of their clearer vision seats. Wooots!!

First performers of the night...Pussycat Dolls!! They so rock big time wei. Loveddd their performance.



I also loved Onerepublic's and Leona Lewis' performances. They were gooood. Maybe also because I love the songs they sang. Haha. No pictures of them because it was blur. Still didnt on the flash. It was later only when I was brave enough to snap pictures with the flash on. teehee. Onerepublic's lead singer is hawttt!!

My fave Korean boys, Super Junior performing an uber cool performance. Yeap, I turned the flash on.

Halfway during the show, Su Yen kept asking me for my clapper and I was relunctant to let her use it. Why?? Here's why..



She clapped too hard until like that la. Every minute I could see her re-blowing her clapper bolster. And she kept hitting by head with it by accident. Lol. Poor girl. I let her use mine tho and when I got excited, instead of clapping the clappers, I had to stomp my feet and scream. Swt.

We were having a rocking good time, yo!!!!!!!!



Last performers for the night was Panic At The Disco. My fave part of the performance would have to be when they sang I Write Sins Not Tragedies. There was one part when they were supposed to say 'whore' in the song, they kept quiet and everyone shouted 'whore' for them. Damn cool. And the lead's singer's smile was toooo cute when he heard us say 'whore' . Hahaha. Dont understand huh? Nevermind.



It was soooo colorful!! Me loveyyy!! Everything was sooo cute.

I love this too when all the blings started flying around...Woot!!



WE WERE AT THE MAA!!!!!!!!!!



After the show, we walked out feeling still lovestoned and lost. Suddenly, we bumped into Daphne Iking and Jojo Struys. Su Yen and me, biasa la, sibuk-ed and wanted to take pictures. Hehe.



Then we bumped into this model guy. I thought he looked familiar tho until I realized that i saw himon TV before. Su Yen sooo wanted to take picture with him and so did I anyway. Teehee. He was really friendly tho and he looked lost.



When the place was clearing up, we played around the red carpet area. We HAD to pretend we were celebrities. Haha. Once in a lifetime oppurtunity ok!! And who knows, it can help in our future career as celebs. coughcough.



Halfway ber-syok sendiri, Wai Ling and Yvonne and one of their friend bumped into us. I hope and pray they didnt see us act like damn stupid. Hahah. Damn funny lor. We were like pretending to wave to our fans and all and suddenly I heard someone calling...'CLAIR.....CLAIRRR!!..' I thought..'Eh betul ke? I got fans.' Hahhaa..

Yeap. Thats all. After the show, walked around, balik hotel and totally slept like logs. It was a greattt weekend with the girls. Hope to have it again soon. More pictures will be in Facebook yea.

Now damn sick again. And I vommited the night I came back. Wth. Damn delayed telecast lor.
